My classroom learning environment promotes fun, growth, and a sense of family as we explore the realm of science. I was inspired by my JH/HS math teacher to pursue teaching, and I try my best to implement the same welcoming atmosphere.

As the 2020-2021 school is gearing up, I am proud to say this will be my tenth year teaching at Ranger High School. A few hats that I've been honored to wear in the ten years here in Ranger are past volleyball coach, cheer coach, and currently HS science UIL and senior class sponsor. I earned a Bachelor of Science with an emphasis in Animal Science from Tarleton State University and then obtained a teaching certificate from Region 14, ACP.

Outside of school I enjoy raising beef cattle and horses with my husband and daughter. So, if I walk into class with manure or hay on me, don't be alarmed it's all part of my normal attire :)
